  • Forget Blue Monday, have a ‘Brew Monday’!

    16th January 2017
January gets some bad press, home as it is to huge credit card bills, failed fitness programmes, broken New Year’s resolutions, cold weather and what’s known as ‘Blue Monday’, the day that has been dubbed the most depressing day of the year, which falls on January 16 this year.

A Samaritans volunteer at the Bangor & North Down branch
    2nd January 2017
So many people have it in them to be a Samaritans volunteer here in Bangor and North Down. To touch another person’s life when it really matters, by helping them directly, or by keeping our branches running, is a rare gift.
  • IT Support Volunteers Needed

    8th October 2016
Bangor and North Down Samaritans are looking for someone to be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of branch computer systems and provide IT support for the branch. Do you have some time to spare and an interest in developing your own skills to help to support a very good cause?
