Swim for East Coast Samaritans
Pilgrim's Food Masters Shillelagh are going to do a winter swim to help raise awareness of mental health and raise some funds for East Coast Samaritans. There will be approximately 30 brave souls taking to the waters of the South East in an event on the 5th of December which will be done virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be small groups, and pictures to be shared afterwards. We will update this page and update websites. Pilgrim's is a global provider of high-quality food products including Denny, Ballyfree, Galtee, fire and smoke and also produce their own label products, producing sliced cooked meats and breakfast products. There will also be a raffle onsite at Pilgrim's Master Foods for a coveted prize of one weeks holidays!
Pilgrim's Master foods are making the swim an annual event to help raise awareness and funds for local charities, last year they swam in aid of breast cancer. This year they chose East Coast Samaritans. They said they enjoy doing this while creating a great connection within the community.
East Coast Samaritans based in Arklow Co Wicklow are extremely grateful for your bravery to undertake this swim in this cold weather to raise awareness of mental health needs and to raise vital funds for our branch, We thank you so much, we are more grateful than you will ever know.
