World Mental Health Day - Saturday 10th October
World Mental Health Day takes place every year on 10 October. It is an opportunity to raise awareness, challenge stigma and remind people that mental health matters every day - not only when someone reaches crisis point.
Many people struggle in silence because they worry about being judged, misunderstood or becoming a burden. Talking openly can make a real difference. You do not need to have the right words, and you do not need to face difficult thoughts or feelings alone.
Samaritans is here to listen, without judgement or pressure. Whatever you are going through, you can talk to us in confidence.
