We were delighted to attend a presentation on Friday, of the new kit for Kilcullen GAA sponsored by local businessman Finbar Ryan. The kit has the Samaritans logo on it and it is fantastic to see these young men wearing it. It is apt that this is Men's Mental Health Month and we hope it helps raise awareness of mental health especially in men.
A huge thank you to all involved.
We are always here freephone 116 123.
Our thanks to local businessman, Finbarr Ryan of CLS Landscaping, Mooretown Castle, Kilcullen for sponsoring the latest set on McKvr Sports jerseys for the Kilcullen Minor Team. Finbar and his son Stephen are well known to Kilcullen GAA with Stephen being a key part of Kilcullen's team over the years and now as coach of the Minor team.
The new kit is dedicated to the Samaritans, who have 25 locations across Ireland & Northern Ireland, providing a vital lifeline, answering around 1,500 calls for help a day. According to Finbar, “It’s important that we talk about Mental Health, helping to prevent suicide through the power of human connection. The Samaritans Helpline connects people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen”. The Helpline number is 116 123. #oneclub #heartofthecommunity
