Our telephone fundraising
For a long time, we have kept in touch with our supporters by telephone to update them on our current work.
We speak to people who have given us a cash donation to let them know more about our work and other ways they could help us, such as making a regular donation. We also speak to people who already support us regularly to thank them for their amazing support and ask them to continue, or increase, their regular gift or gift aid their donation.
Many of the people we speak with are happy to help us, and those that aren’t in a position to do so have the opportunity to learn a great deal more about who Samaritans are, and what we do.
And our fundraisers are very careful not to make people feel pressured, following strict codes of practice set out by the Fundraising Regulator.

Contact our Supporter Care Team on 03709 0000 32 or email@example.com who will personally record and manage their enquiry.
Calling occurs until 9pm, and the Supporter Care Team line is available between 9am-5pm, but any voicemails left will be picked up by the team the following day.
The Supporter Care Team follow a strict procedure when dealing with telephone enquiries and we keep a log of all feedback, reviewing during and after the campaign has finished.
