Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection
From humble beginnings with just one phone line over 70 years ago, Samaritans volunteers now respond to a call for help every 10 seconds.
To make sure we can be there for everyone who needs us, in the right way for them, we must innovate and respond to the changing needs of our callers, and those people who provide our life-changing service. To help us do that, we generate and use evidence gathered from research and evaluation projects to inform our work.
So that we can gather the evidence we need, we commission numerous research and evaluation projects each year, from large- to small-scale. If you’re interested in working with us, and you've got the skills we need, please take a look at the current opportunities below and send us your proposal. We'd love to hear from you.
We currently have the following tender opportunity:
"Making Primary Care Work Better for Middle-Aged Men’s Mental Health": Invitation to Tender for delivery of lived experience workshops (deadline for proposals 13th February). See the document below for full details, including contact information for any questions.
