• The Prize Draw is open to supporters who are aged 18 and over and have signed up to Samaritans’ Supporter Insight Panel*.
• Prize Draw entries must be received by midnight on Thursday 11 July 2021 to qualify for the draw. Any entries received after this deadline will not be entered.
• The Prize Draw will take place on Thursday 29 July 2021 and the winner will be notified by telephone, email and/or post on or by Wednesday 4 August 2021.
• If our winner chooses the M&S £40 gift card, they must provide a postal address to claim their gift card. Alternatively, the winner will need to confirm by phone or email the name of the charity they wish to benefit from a £40 donation. If the winner does not respond within one month of the draw date, the winner's prize will be forfeited.
• The winner’s details (name and prize) will be published on our website on or before Wednesday 4 August 2021.
• Employees of Samaritans or anyone else connected with the M&S £40 Prize Draw may not enter.
• To qualify for the Prize Draw entrants must tick the Prize Draw entry box on Samairtans’ tribute survey.
• Prize Draw entrants shall be considered to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

• We can only accept one entry per person and joint submissions are not permitted.
• The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process by an independent adjudicator.
• The £40 M&S gift card prize, if appropriate, will be sent to the winner by post within two weeks of confirmation of their postal address details.
• The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

Samaritans may ask the winner to take part in promotional activity related to the Prize Draw and the winner shall participate in such activity upon reasonable request. The winner consents to the use by Samaritans of personal quotes, photographs and name for fundraising and charity publicity purposes in any medium, including still photographs, in print and/or on the internet - inclusive any websites hosted by Samaritans.

All our prize draws and competitions are governed by English law and entrants to any prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Insofar as is permitted by law, Samaritans, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Samaritans, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Samaritans reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

The decision of Samaritans regarding any aspect of the prize draw or competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
