- You are medically and physically fit and understand that you take part in this event at your own risk. Samaritans will not be held responsible for any injury or illness related to your training or taking part in this event. It is each Samaritans Participant’s own responsibility to assess their fitness and to ensure that they participate only if sufficiently fit.
- We’ll email you to share event information, fundraising advice and training tips, plus advice to support you to reach your fundraising target
- If you supply your telephone number we may message you from time to time with important event information and/or use it to contact you about your fundraising.
- We’ll use your postal address to keep in touch by post
- You agree to only use lawful means to fundraise and not to do anything that is likely to harm Samaritans’ reputation.
- I confirm that I am medically fit and take part in the event at my own risk

Reward Fulfilment & Data Sharing
To issue fundraising incentives, we will share your name and email with our fulfilment partner BlueStep. These details will be used solely for eligibility verification and delivery - never for marketing. Accounts without a redeemed incentive will be deleted by 14 December.

To comply with these and any further rules and requirements about fundraising, which Samaritans notify:
- Your actions will not incur Samaritans any cost, claim, loss, or liability. You recognise that when you’re fundraising for Samaritans, your actions will be linked to Samaritans and our cause. You will not do anything to bring Samaritans’ name into disrepute.
- We may refuse entry, remove or exclude or cancel your place in the event if we consider that your participation in the event will bring the event, the Event Organiser or Samaritans into disrepute or otherwise damage the reputation of Samaritans, the Event or the Event Organiser.
- You will take responsibility for the safekeeping of money raised in the Samaritans name, until it is transferred to the Samaritans.
- You will conduct your fundraising in a respectful and positive manner and not in a way that could be seen as intrusive.
- To only use Samaritans’ materials and logos for the purposes of your fundraising activity.
