Sahara Desert Trek
A challenging trek against the backdrop of the awe-inspiring Sahara Desert, this adventurous trip offers a unique desert experience. You'll be accompanied by Berber guides and a caravan of camels, and sleep under a sky full of stars in desert camps. The vast desert is a beautiful place to discover. From flat desert floor scattered with fossils to wind-blown sand dunes, this trek is demanding, but knowing you are helping us answer calls from people in distress will be motivation to spur you on.

Sign-up options
There are 3 different sign up options to choose from:
Full fundraising - Pay a registration fee when you sign up, raise a minimum fundraising amount, and we'll cover the cost of your trip.
Part-payment - Cover part of the trip cost yourself, raise a minimum fundraising amount, and we'll cover the remaining balance.
Full payment - Pay the full cost of your trip, and raise what you can! There is no minimum fundraising target.
If you choose an option that has a minimum fundraising amount, 80% of the fundraising is required 10 weeks before the trip. The remaining 20% is required within 2 weeks of your return. Our Events team is on hand for any fundraising support and advice you need.

If you’re looking for a challenge with great exposure to rich culture and beautiful scenery, this is it! Be prepared for sand and rocks but I had a thoroughly good time with half the desert in my shoes! The group were fantastic and the local guides were supportive and kind.
