Terms and conditions
The Prize Draw is open to Samarathon 2022 participants aged 18 and over, who have set up their Facebook Fundraiser, Enthuse fundraising page or JustGiving fundraising page and have received at least one donation to this page by Thursday 30th June 2022.
Anyone who receives their first donation after this point will not be entered.
The free Prize Draw will take place on Monday 4th July 2022 and the winner will be notified by email.
The winner will receive a Fitbit kindly donated by Three.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
If the winner does not respond within one month of the draw date, the winner's prize will be forfeited.
The winner’s details (name and prize) will be published on our website on or before Monday 4th July 2022.
Employees of Samaritans may not enter the Prize Draw.
To qualify for the Prize Draw, entrants must have received a minimum of one donation or more on either their Facebook fundraising page, Enthuse fundraising page or JustGiving fundraising page.
Prize Draw entrants shall be considered to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

We can only accept one entry per person.
The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process by an independent adjudicator.
The prize will be sent to the winners by post from Samaritans, within two weeks of confirmation of their details.
Samaritans may ask the winner to take part in promotional activity related to the Prize Draw and the winner shall participate in such activity upon reasonable request. The winner consents to the use by Samaritans of personal quotes, photographs and name for fundraising and charity publicity purposes in any medium, including still photographs, in print and/or on the internet - including any websites hosted by Samaritans.
"All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.”
“Insofar as is permitted by law, Samaritans, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Samaritans, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.”
“Samaritans reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.”
“The decision of Samaritans regarding any aspect of the prize draw or competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.”
