Why Samaritans need your support
We know that life can sometimes be incredibly tough. Thanks to the dedication of more than 20,000 volunteers, Samaritans can be there for anyone, whatever they are going through and whenever they are struggling to cope. We’re also at the heart of local communities, working with schools, workplaces, railways, prisons and hospitals to offer training and support, preventing suicide and helping people turn their lives around.
Our life-saving work wouldn’t be possible without the extraordinary generosity of our event participants.

Accessibility Information
Please read the information below about taking part if you have a disability and/or require assistance on event day.
Wheelchairs:
Wheelchair entrants are permitted at the Saucony Run Shoreditch Half. At registration checkout, simply tick the wheelchair participant box and we'll be in touch to coordinate any necessary details with you.
Hand cycles, however, are not permitted and all wheelchair participants must be self-propelled without support.
Racing Wheelchairs
We are committed to making our events as inclusive and accessible as possible, and we actively welcome wheelchair participants to take part.
Following feedback and consultation from past participants, we have reviewed the course and decided that the route is not suitable for racing wheelchairs. This decision has been made in the interests of safety and to ensure the best possible experience for all participants.
Day chairs are still welcome at the Saucony Run Shoreditch Half. Anyone participating in a day chair will start at the back of their allocated pen, based on their estimated finishing time to ensure they can participate safely in the race.
Support Runners:
If you are a visually impaired runner or your disability and/or medical conditions means that you require a guide runner/assistant, then please contact [email protected] detailing your request.
We strongly advise that each participant and their guide should be appropriately identified and linked together in a safe way on event day. Guide dogs are permitted on the event site, however they are not permitted on the Saucony Run Shoreditch race route.
For more information you can check out the race organiser’s Event FAQs here or please get in touch with our team at community&[email protected] to discuss further.
