Prize
- The prize available is a Samaritans branded water bottle.
- The prize will be awarded to all supporters who are aged 18 and over, are currently signed up to #TeamSamaritans for the Edinburgh Marathon or the Edinburgh Half Marathon 2026 and have raised at least £150 on their JustGiving fundraising page in online donations (not including gift aid or amounts raised offline) by 9am on Monday 15th December.
- All donations must be received by 9am on Monday 15th December to qualify for the prize. Any donations received after this deadline will not qualify for the prize. For any supporters fundraising as part of a team, their total will be calculated based on the amount raised per person.
- Winners will be notified by email on or by Tuesday 16th December.
- All entrants shall be considered to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

- The prize will only be delivered to an address within the UK. Should an entrant change their contact details, it is their responsibility to notify the Samaritans Events Team by emailing community&[email protected]
- The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
Samaritans may ask the winners to take part in promotional activity related to the prize and the winners shall participate in such activity upon reasonable request. The winners consent to the use by Samaritans of personal quotes, photographs and name for fundraising and charity publicity purposes, in any medium, including still photographs, in print and/or on the internet - inclusive any websites hosted by Samaritans.
All our prize draws and competitions are governed by English law and entrants to any prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Insofar as is permitted by law, Samaritans, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Samaritans, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Samaritans reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
The decision of Samaritans regarding any aspect of the prize draw or competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
