About the campaign

On 1 March 2022, Samaritans launches the third phase of its award-winning Real People, Real Stories campaign. Throughout March, it aims to reach men in rural communities who are struggling to cope to prevent them from reaching crisis point.

At Samaritans, we know genuine human connection can help people find ways to get through tough times. That’s why, as part of the campaign, we’re sharing real stories of recovery and hope to encourage men to seek help when they are struggling or feeling low.

How to get involved

Here’s how you can get involved and help raise awareness of the campaign:

  • Share the campaign across your social media channels with the hashtag #RealPeopleRealStories using our downloadable assets
  • Share the campaign internally with colleagues
  • Share the campaign with your external networks, suppliers or customers
  • Speak to us about your plans to share the campaign

We’re helping Samaritans by sharing the latest phase of its Real People, Real Stories campaign which runs from 1 March to 21 March 2022.

The campaign aims to target men in rural communities who are struggling to cope, to prevent them from reaching crisis point. It shares real stories of hope and recovery to encourage men to seek help by calling Samaritans for free on 116 123 – day or night, 365 days a year. 

When life is tough, Samaritans are there to listen.
