Digital Futures

The latest Digital Futures blog discusses what we have learnt during the project and where we go now. Read the blog here.

The Digital Futures blog has been running since the start of Digital Futures project and aims to spark discussion and debate which will inform the development of Samaritans’ digital services in the future!

Tell us your views by commenting on the blog, emailing us directly, or write your own blogs or tweets using the hashtag #digitalfutures and we will link to a selection on our website.

Read our Tweetchats

As part of Digital Futures, we hosted two Tweetchats covering a range of different issues affecting online support.

You can read the first one here. Our second one is also online and is available here.

Our research with Truth

Samaritans commissioned research consultancy Truth to explore the risks and opportunities associated with seeking help and information online and to help us shape the future of Samaritans' online services. The research forums have now been completed. Thank you to everyone who took part!

Learning from others working online

We’re speaking to experts in a range of areas about what could be done to help people in the online environment. You can hear some of what they have to say in our Digital Futures videos here.

Have your say

If you would like to tell us your thoughts on Digital Futures or how you use online tools for emotional support, you can tell the team at Samaritans directly by emailing us here.
