Worthing Samaritans offer a cuppa to shoppers on Brew Monday
On Monday 19th January, volunteers from Worthing Samaritans set up in the town centre to meet the public and offer special Samaritans tea bags, biscuits, coasters and leaflets, and to chat with passers by.
The day has become known as "Blue Monday", said to signify the most depressing day of the year. Samaritans turn that around to "Brew Monday"and invite people to share a cuppa and meet up with friends.
Worthing Samaritans' volunteers were out in force to cheer up local shoppers!
