Welcome to the website of Samaritans of Hillingdon
Providing support to people in Hillingdon and the surrounding area since 1973, we are a branch of over 70 dedicated listening volunteers. We receive around 16,000 contacts each year from people who are in distress or need of emotional support.
Over the last 50 years, we have evolved our service and embraced the opportunities arising from new technology and, as a result, we now support callers from right across the United Kingdom as well as in our local area.
In addition to being available when people reach out to us, we look for ways to reach people in the community who would otherwise know about us, or would not be able, or feel able, to get in touch.
