If you are, we would love to hear from you.
Samaritans is a charity dedicated to supporting people who are struggling to cope. Our trained volunteers provide a safe, non-judgemental space for anyone in emotional distress or crisis. The Samaritans' free telephone helpline – 116 123 – is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Last year we received over 5 million calls.
We are actively recruiting new volunteers and if you would like to gain a better insight into what would be involved, please do come along to one of our Welcome and Information Evenings at the Stratford Samaritans Community Hub, Tyler House, Tyler Street, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6TY:
- Tuesday 14th April - 7pm-8:30pm
- Tuesday 9th June - 7pm-8:30pm
We are a friendly, positive and supportive branch and recently celebrated our 35th birthday. Volunteering with Samaritans is an opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while gaining valuable skills and experiences.
