Preston Samaritans does Brew Monday

Monday marked a welcome return for the Outreach Team at Preston Samaritans to Preston Train Station, and what a brilliant day it was! Armed with Brew Monday teabags and delicious Avanti shortbreads, we teamed up with the fantastic Avanti crew, Pastor Mike, and the British Transport Police to spread a little warmth and kindness to passing travellers. It was great to see everyone working side by side for such an important cause.

And Preston wasn’t alone! Samaritan groups were out in force at stations including Wigan, Warrington, Lancaster, Oxenholme, Penrith, Carlisle, and many more across the country. It felt special to be part of such a nationwide effort.
