To mark World Mental Health Day, this October, join us by taking part in Dawn Walk, our sponsored 5Km walk at dawn.
On SATURDAY 11 OCTOBER, 6:15am, we’ll be meeting at Seedhill Athletics track, Surrey Road, Nelson, BB9 7TY to walk in solidarity with those struggling to copy and to raise vital funds for Pendle, Burnley, Craven & Rossendale Samaritans. All funds raised will help our volunteers continue to be there for anyone struggling to cope with life's challenges.
Registrations are open. Join us to watch the sunrise over Pendle Hill from Seedhill.
Andrew, Branch Director at Pendle, Burnley, Craven & Rossendale, said: “This exciting new challenge is a great way for people to look after their own mental health, connect with other people and raise vital funds for our life-saving service that helps so many in need of support.
“Life is tough for a lot of people right now for all kinds of reasons. Our volunteers are here for anyone regardless of what they are facing and to listen to people when they feel they have nowhere else to turn. The funds raised from this new event will help us to continue to be there and to support anyone in need of a listening ear.”
