Station Event held on 26th April 2019
Just an update on last Friday's stations event.
This was our first opportunity to hand out our contact information with our new branding. I feel this did make a difference and more interest was shown by commuters because we were able to display our wares on a table at both stations, which the station staff kindly supplied.
We had a team of 12 covering Bromley South and Orpington Stations from 4pm until 7pm, plus Jennifer's partner Keith, who seems to have become our resident piano player at Bromley South, for which we are most grateful.
The feedback from volunteers has been lovely. Someone told that they are running the marathon today for Samaritans because they are very appreciative of the support they have received from us.
Lots of comments of "great job" and "well done".
This is such a good way to get us noticed within the community and I am so so thankful for the volunteers who give up so much of their precious time to support these station events.
