Join us this October for our Dawn Walk — a special 5K walk at sunrise to mark World Mental Health Day.
On Sunday 12 October 2025 at 6:45am, we’ll gather at The Stade, Hastings to walk together in support of those who are struggling and to raise vital funds for Hastings and Rother Samaritans.
By taking part, you’ll be helping our amazing volunteers continue to be there for anyone finding life tough. It’s a beautiful way to show solidarity, support your own wellbeing, and make a real difference.
Registrations are now open — come and walk with us as the sun rises over Hastings Old Town and Seafront.
It’s not just volunteers who can take part. Friends and family can walk too and set up their own fundraising pages.
Jan Tomalin, Branch Director at Hastings and Rother Samaritans said:
“We know life is tough for so many people right now, and more than ever, they need someone to listen with empathy and without judgment. As a volunteer, you already make such a difference — and this challenge is a great way to take care of your own mental wellbeing, connect with others, and help us raise vital funds for the work of our branch. By taking part, you’re helping ensure we can continue to be there for anyone who needs a kind, understanding ear. We truly couldn’t do it without you.”
