Samaritans named as one of Mayor of Harrow’s chosen charities

We’re truly honoured that the new Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Anjana Patel, has chosen Samaritans as one of her charities for the year, alongside VIA.

At her official Mayor making ceremony on 15 May, Cllr Patel shared her heartfelt support, saying:

“I encourage everyone to support my charities, VIA and Samaritans, who carry out vital work to help those most in need.”

We at Harrow Samaritans are deeply grateful to Councillor Anjana Patel for her support and recognition. Her Mayoral theme of kindness, caring and respect closely reflects our values and we’re thankful that she is helping to shine a light on the importance of emotional wellbeing. Her encouragement for others to support our work means so much - helping us to ensure that fewer people face their struggles alone.
