We were absolutely delighted as a branch to be involved in the Harrogate Round Table Beer Festival on the weekend of 6 & 7 March 2025 along with 3 other amazing local charities.
We supplied 30 volunteers over the weekend to help run the festival, serving pints to the patrons who generously came along in support of what we do.
The festival helps us to raise essential funds to run our service which is deeply embedded in our local community and has been for 50 years, since 1976.
Our branch needs to raise in excess of £40,000 per year to keep the lights on and the phones answered all hours of the day and night.
We cannot thank the Harrogate Round Table enough for the support they continue to give us, and are entirely grateful for the opportunity that the Beer Festival gives us from both raising awareness of our service to potential callers and for the fundraising this brings us.
