Volunteer Opportunities Available
We currently have a range of volunteer roles open for anyone who wants to get involved in our branch. Whether you're interested in helping behind the scenes or supporting our day-to-day operations, there’s a place for you in our team. No prior experience is needed just a willingness to make a difference.
Our branch is looking to recruit to resemble the community it serves and we have an accessible branch, so all are welcome.
Become a Listening Volunteer
We’re also actively recruiting listening volunteers to answer calls from people in crisis. This role is at the heart of what Samaritans does: offering a safe space for anyone who needs to talk. All listening volunteers receive a fully developed training course beforehand, designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to support callers with compassion and care.
