A new initiative we had this month was to join forces with a local fish and chip shop to help reach people who normally spend most of their time in their own home and order takeaways to be delivered to their homes.
Barnsley Samaritans worked alongside BMBC and Fish Fellas fish and chip shop to provide a greaseproof paper with Samaritans brand and telephone number to help reach people who normally wouldn't venture out but who might be in need of Samaritans service
