Listening volunteers
Listening volunteers answer calls and messages from people who really need someone to talk to. You’ll be based in our Aberystwyth branch.
Fundraising volunteers
2 - 6 hours per week over a year to work as part of a team researching, designing and activating fundraising opportunities for the Aberystwyth Samaritans Branch. This can be undertaken remotely from anywhere in Wales. Being bilingual would be an advantage but not essential.
Outreach volunteers
To help communities to help themselves and each other and to make individuals aware of the support Samaritans can offer. This will require volunteers to undertake training, become familiar with the vision and values of Samaritans, understand the resources Samaritans has on offer and how these might be helpfully implemented.
