An Turas Mor / The Long Journey 2025

350 miles by bike from Glasgow to Cape Wrath lighthouse through the remote highlands of Scotland

Alistair, one of our volunteers, is planning to cycle the An Turas Mor (The Long Journey) off-road trail from Glasgow to Cape Wrath at the far north west of Scotland. It is 350 miles long with about 27,000 ft of ascent (not quite as much as Everest). Starting on Thursday 1 May 2025, it will take a couple of weeks.
