Why we need your support

One in five of us experience suicidal thoughts at some point in our lives but suicide can be prevented

Every 90 minutes in the UK, someone dies by suicide. But talking saves lives.

During 2022, Samaritans volunteers responded to almost 3 million calls for help by telephone and more than 200,000 by email.

When you are struggling and feeling overwhelmed it can feel like there is nowhere or nobody to turn to.
