Our Autumn Intake Selection Day will be held on Sunday 2nd September 2018

If you would like to become a Listening Volunteer it is important that you are aware and can commit to the extensive training you will need before you are allowed to take your first call.  If your application is successful following our Selection Day, you will be required to attend approximately 30-35 hours of training - split into nine sessions and spread over a two month period - ALL of which you will have to attend in order to become a Samaritans Listening Volunteer.  We recognize that this is a 'big ask', so if you would like to know the dates of our Autumn 2018 training sessions they will be available to view (when confirmed) here.
