Stratford Samaritans have been supporting our local community since 1990. Our branch not only covers Stratford but other larger towns in the area like Warwick, Leamington, Alcester, Redditch and Shipston and the many dozens of smaller towns, villages and hamlets in between.

As well as listening inside our Branch we do a lot of talking outside! We have a dedicated team of volunteers who are happy to give talks to schools, clubs, groups in the workplace and other charities, however large or small.
Warwick Hospital
Every Wednesday between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm, Samaritan volunteers are on duty at Warwick Hospital to offer emotional support to anyone who feels like dropping in to see us; patients, visitors or staff. Everything discussed during visits remains entirely confidential within Samaritans. You will find us at the crossroads between the Chapel, the Outpatients Dept and Nicholas Ward.

The Samaritans of Stratford upon Avon news

  • Stratford Samaritans are now recruiting

The Stratford branch of Samaritans is recruiting now for our next Training Programme in April. Could you spare a few hours a month to help someone through a tough time? To find out more about becoming a listening volunteer, come along to an open evening (Thursday 5 or Tuesday 10 March at 7.30). Please email Ros to book a place on an open evening at ros412@stratfordsamaritans.org.uk .
  • Stratford Samaritans Pop-Up success

£5,459 was raised by the Pop-Up shop run by the Friends Group in Greenhill Street thanks to a lot of generous people. Fantastic donations from supporters, huge time and effort by fitters, sorters and shop assistants, to say nothing of the generosity of the public who shopped till they dropped.
