Samaritans has been established nationally for more than 50 years; Winchester is just one of over 200 Samaritans branches. Operating from 13 Upper High Street, our volunteers offer emotional support to anyone seeking it. Our door is open to visitors from 9.30 am to 10 pm every day of the year. Telephone calls, emails and SMS text messages are answered throughout the day and night. If we are closed, other Samaritans branches pick up our calls, so no-one should ever be abandoned by the service we offer. Every year, the Winchester Branch deals with over 44,000 contacts.
