DEAL with Poetry - an additional module
This new module promotes the use of poetry as a form of self
expression. Approaching difficult issues indirectly through poetry
stimulates young people to think about emotional health issues in
their own lives.
The additional module contains 4 session plans that can be used
in both small groups and in classroom environments.

Cinema adverts
All these adverts were created through the generosity of
advertising agency AMV
BBDO and take a humorous look at people reluctant
to ask for help.
Every secondary school in the UK and ROI received a copy of the
DEAL resources as part of the launch in October 2006. For a limited
time a free copy of the DEAL electronic pack (containing a CD-ROM
with the teaching materials and DVD) is available to people who
will be using the materials directly with young people or with
schools. This is limited to one copy per organisation. To request a
copy please email schools@samaritans.org
