Living with the evidence
Samaritans formed a partnership with Her
Majesty's Court Services (HMCS) to provide emotional support to
jurors following Jury Service.
Jury Service can be a stressful
experience, jurors may hear upsetting evidence and whilst they will
get support during the trial itself, HMCC are aware that it may be
some time after the trial that distressing feelings may
surface.
HMCC have produced leaflets, which
will be available in all Jury Rooms in England and Wales, which
explain our service and how to contact us.
