Welcome to Northampton Samaritans
2008 is the 40th Anniversary of the founding of our Branch!

Northampton Branch is one of 203 branches throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland, all registered charities and with a total of 18300 volunteers.

Our vision is for a society where fewer people die by suicide because people are able to share feelings of emotional despair without fear of being judged.

Samaritans is a charity that provides completely confidential emotional support 24 hours a day by phone, face-to-face, letter and email.

Samaritans is available 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide. You can access this support by contacting us by telephone, in person or via e-mail.
