Situated on the corner of Rope Walk and St Helens Street, Ipswich and East Suffolk Samaritans has been serving the local community since 1963.

We are entirely dependent upon voluntary support and are always recruiting new volunteers, why not come to one of our information evenings to find out more?

Samaritans offers 24hour confidential emotional support to anyone in emotional distress (not just the suicidal).

Samaritans believes that offering people the opportunity to be listened to in confidence and accepted without prejudice, can alleviate both despair and suicidal feelings.
