Contact us now
Just having someone to talk to that isn't family or friends can be a tremendous help. You don't have to be suicidal to get in touch.
We know our service can help people before it's too late.
But we’re a charity, and it’s your kind donations that keep our helpline open.

Supporting people who are deaf or hard of hearing
Callers who are deaf or who have hearing or speech impairments can contact us for support by email by using firstname.lastname@example.org or by using the Next Generation Text (NGT) service. Next Generation Text is not specific to Samaritans and can be used on any telephone number. You can contact Samaritans in this way using our 116 123 number, or your local branch telephone number.
We’re also looking at other ways we can be available for people too.
