Samaritans can provide companies with a variety of different opportunities for event sponsorship, awareness days, publications and conferences.
Samaritans works with companies in lots of different ways, whether it’s helping staff to manage their emotional health as part of your wellbeing programme or supporting your teams to work with vulnerable customers.
Why partner with us?
A relevant cause, motivating for your employees
One million of the calls to help to Samaritans are from people thinking about ending their lives, they cannot see a way forward. These are normal people who are struggling to cope with what life has thrown at them from divorce and bereavement to redundancy.
Every £4 raised allows us to answer a lifesaving call for help.
You never know when you might need Samaritans; or your colleagues, or your family, or your friends. But you do know we will always be there, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is your support today, which allows us to be there for you tomorrow.
Suicide is the biggest cause of death in men under 45.
Association with a strong, trusted brand
Samaritans has strong brand awareness, so our partners positively benefit from association with a widely recognised, trusted and respected brand.
You can have a significant impact
Samaritans is a big brand but not a big charity. We provide support to over 5 million calls for help each year, for only £12 million.
We are an efficiently-run charity with around a 100 full time paid staff and over 21,000 volunteers.
Any support your company gives will therefore have a big impact.
A local, national, charity
- Our service is delivered by volunteers in our 201 branches across the UK and Republic of Ireland, money you raise help support people in your local community, as well as nationally.
- A national network of support for partnerships – sites can be twinned with local Samaritans branches.
- Local and regional press opportunities, as well as national.
With over 21,000 volunteers, Samaritans is well-placed to facilitate employee volunteering opportunities, with the potential for employees to develop skills such as team building and leadership.
Samaritans offers workplace training courses, designed to deliver bespoke, specialist communication skills for frontline staff and managers.
