About Us
Founded in 1970, you can find us on the corner of King's Place, Perth. Just a short walk from the city centre, close to the bus and rail stations.
We have a dedicated team of volunteers from all over Perthshire who provide emotional support by telephone, SMS and in person. As well as being active in supporting people in our local area, through our outreach work.
Last year we answered 9404 calls and replied to 1726 text messages.

Fundraising
We are always interested to hear from people who can help with fundraising events and new ideas! Perhaps you would like to join us as a fundraising volunteer? Or maybe get involved with one of our events. If you would like more information get in touch.
It costs around £25,000 per year to run our branch and we rely on donations from individuals and other organisations. If you would like to contribute towards our work we would be extremely grateful. If you pay income tax, we can claim an additional 25% on top of any gift you give us.
In the Community
As well as supporting our callers, we provide support to the local communities in our area. We work alongside Perth and Kinross Council and other partners towards reducing suicide throughout Perthshire.
In H.M. Prison Perth we train and support serving prisoners who act as Listeners for other prisoners in distress or at risk of suicide.
We regularly deliver talks and presentations to schools, local organisations and anyone else who is interested in learning about our work. If you would like us to talk to your organisation please contact us.
