Before Coronavirus hit, our 20,000 volunteers were answering a call for help every six seconds. Our helpline is feeling the pressure. We’re likely to experience more people struggling to cope or in crisis and have more volunteers self-isolating. That is why we are asking you to make a small donation to help our volunteers at Bury Samaritans to help keep the branch going.
It costs approximately £5 for a Samaritan at our branch to take a call and one small donation of £5 could make a difference to a person who needs us. Because one life lost is one life too many.
