Samaritans has appointed a new Wales Trustee

We are pleased to report that Christopher Mill has been appointed the new Samaritans Trustee for Wales.

Christopher has been a volunteer at Haverfordwest branch since 2008, holding various roles in the branch. In 2012 he was appointed to the Samaritans Cymru Board. He has also volunteered for the National Trust as External Member of various committees of the Council and Board of Trustees, and for the Cranfield Trust which provides pro-bono consultancy to small and medium sized charities.

His career until retirement was in international consultancy helping international business, not-for-profit, and inter-governmental organisations with senior recruitment and with organisation strategy and planning. Before that he held international general management and HR positions with two American companies.

Christopher lives in West Wales in a beautiful place, fishes for lobster and crab, runs on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and tries to remember to weed the vegetable patch.

“What we do is important, and it is a great privilege to be able to help to shape what we can offer as Samaritans volunteers, and to have the opportunity to help build Samaritans Cymru.”
