Samaritans Cymru Board is recruiting
Could you contribute to Samaritans’ aims in Wales?
Samaritans offers a 24/7 helpline service which gives you a safe space where you can talk about what is happening, how you are feeling, and how to find your own way forward.
Samaritans Cymru Board is the Wales sub-committee of the Samaritans Board of Trustees. The Board will meet around three times a year and has places reserved for Samaritans volunteers and non-Samaritans in order to ensure we remain an outward facing organisation guided by the needs of the Welsh public.
We are now seeking to appoint one non-Samaritan volunteer member who demonstrates strategic knowledge and skills in any one of the following areas:
- Marketing / PR
You will demonstrate a genuine interest in Samaritans values and services. In the role you will work alongside other members of the Samaritans Cymru Board to help us develop new partnerships which promote Samaritans and have the potential to raise new funds to support our work in Wales.
This post is unremunerated and we will be seeking a time commitment of approximately 1 day per month. The term is initially for two years.
The deadline for applications is Friday 17 May at 5pm.
To apply please download an application pack using the links below. If you are interested in contributing to the valuable work of the Board and would like to find out more please contact us at the Samaritans Wales office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 029 2022 2008.
