Brew Monday 15th January 2018
We gave out 500 tea bags and received 500 smiles
This was the day that Samaritans turned BLUE Monday into BREW Monday by dishing out tea bags to commuters at 80 railway stations nationally, to persuade people to have a cuppa and a chat.
In Worcestershire working with Network-Rail, we covered Worcester Foregate Street, Shrub Hill and Kidderminster stations as well as hosting a drop in event at the Worcester Arts Workshops Cafe Bliss, based in the City centre. Altogether we gave out 500 tea bags and received 500 smiles in return.
Special thanks to Network Rail and Cafe Bliss for hosting the event and BBC Hereford and Worcester, Worcester News and the Berrows Journal for helping us promote the day.
