About our branch
Our branch has been providing support to people in our local area and beyond for many years. Until March 2017 we were on Arpley Street - in the heart of Warrington town centre. We have now moved 200 meters up the road to Bank Quay House. We offer emotional support in person, by telephone, by email and by text and on average each year we help over 26,000 people going through a tough time.
Our Work in the Warrington, Halton & St Helens Community
A really important part of Samaritans work is to reach out to people in the community and work with other organisations to raise awareness of what we do and offer support to as many people as we can.
We have an outreach team who work with, for example, local schools. We love giving talks to anyone who invites us, so we can spread the word.
Volunteering in Warrington, Halton & St Helens Branch
Everyone in the Branch is a volunteer, from Gary our Director to our part time fundraisers. Although Samaritans is best known for its listening volunteers who answer the telephones, there are so many other ways in which you can help us. We have roles in administration, fundraising, IT support and building maintenance for example.
For more information on volunteering why not attend one of our information sessions where you can find out what we do. Please register you interest by clicking the link on the right of the page and one of our recruitment team will be in touch.
