Welcome to Samaritans of Scarborough
Samaritans of Scarborough was founded in 1972, originally a satellite hub of Hull branch. The branch had many homes, finally settling in Trafalgar St West, in a building that was purposely built for Samaritans volunteers to carry out their work.
We also have a charity shop in Hanover road, we accept donations of clothes, shoes, toys and books. We aim to open Tuesday to Saturday depending on volunteer availability. If you would like to come and help us, follow this link /support-us/volunteer/
Volunteers aim to attend local events, we hold a coffee morning on Brew Monday, in January, armed forces day in June and we hold our annual golf tournament in August. For information for this years event see the link below.
