The Friends of Leicester Samaritans hold a Beer, Cheese and Cider Festival to fundraise for our branch every year - and it is now in its fifth year.
Head down to Anne Eliabeth Arts School, Church Road, Aylestone, Leicester, LE2 8LB on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th or Sunday 31st July.
Claire and Lance work hard to provide our Leicester branch with much needed funds. And we all get to enjoy all the fruits of their labour!
The fun includes beer, cider, perry, wine and now Pimm's...
Along with delicious cheeses, pork pies, samosas and handmade bread.
And let's not forget the musical lineup! You can get all the details on the Beer Festival Facebook page.
The festival runs on:
Friday 29th July from 12 noon - 11pm
Saturday 30th July from 11am - 11pm
Sunday 31st July 12 noon - 3pm
Entry costs £2.50 with a £2.50 refundable glass deposit.
So please head on down to Anne Elizabeth Theatre Arts School and support our branch of Samaritans while enjoying the food, drink and music.
The location can be accessed by the number 84, 84a, 85 and 87 buses from the city centre to the junction of Aylestone Road and Wigston Lane.
We can't promise the sunshine but we can promise good food, drink and entertainment.
The beer casks, cider and cheeses are up for sponsorship. If you are interested please download the following form and send it to Lance on the number on the poster.
While you are there you will see lots of our lovely volunteers, so why not ask them a bit about what it is like to volunteer for Samaritans?
