World Mental Health Day - Tutorials & Health Fair at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College

Leeds Samaritans spent most of World Mental Health Day at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College this year.  Volunteers spoke to students in the Form sessions about Samaritans and the importance of Listening.

Mental Health charities in Leeds were then brought together to hold a Mental Health Fair, where students could visit stands asking questions about what we all do to assist in good mental health and also the benefits of volunteering for their future carers.

Raising awareness of the many forms of support that is on offer in Leeds was the aim of the day and from what we could see was fully achieved.

A big thank you to Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College for addressing an important, sensitive subject full on.
