Volunteering with Samaritans of Ipswich and East Suffolk

Volunteering with us

Our branch has two types of volunteer:

  • Listening volunteers support our callers over the phone, by email and text, in person when they visit the branch, and outside the branch at events or during outreach
  • Support volunteers help with the running of the branch by working on fundraising, IT, cleaning, marketing, administration, recruitment and building management

We're always in need of new listening and support volunteers to help us continue supporting our callers.
