Why we need to raise funds
We're dependent on fundraising to keep going, as we receive no government funding.
It costs £65,000 a year to run our branch on St Helen's Street in Ipswich - that's £165 per day.
"Fundraising is essential to keep our branch running. It also helps to build our profile and relationship with the local community." - Ben, Support Volunteer

Fundraising for us
You could run a fundraising event for us. Our fundraising activities are varied, and all money raised is greatly appreciated.

- coffee mornings
- jazz concerts
- sponsored walks
- running marathons
You don't have to be a Samaritans volunteer to raise money for us. But if you're interested in running fundraising events as a support volunteer, find out how to volunteer with us.
