Guildford Samaritans are supporting this year’s Ride London Cycle event on Sunday 2nd August, cheering on the 112 cyclists and raising awareness of Samaritans alongside other charitable organisations.
Volunteers will be manning a stand at the Dorking cheering point at Westcott Road, on the corner of Station Road from 10.30-2.30.
Pip Bridge, Director of Guildford Samaritans, said: “A group of Guildford Samaritans will be cheering on all the cyclists to help keep up their spirits and it’s also a good opportunity for us to spread the word about what we do. We're hoping for a sunny day - do come and see us at our cheering point!”
