Cheltenham

Cheltenham Samaritans opened in 1963; it is an active branch with around 140 volunteers who respond to around 2,000 calls, 400 emails and 100 online chats each month. 

Samaritans volunteers come from all backgrounds and all walks of life and offer their time to support those facing a tough time.  We’re proud to have such dedicated volunteers and supporters.

Our Samaritans volunteers are available 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support to anyone who may be experiencing feelings of distress or despair; including those that may lead to suicide. It doesn’t matter who you are, or what you are going through, if you are finding things tough please get in touch with us and we will always listen.
